13 B Calle Noble, Tesuque
Casa Matsu…Outstanding Compound in the Tesuque Hills.
Never before on the market, this award-winning and timeless compound designed by architect Robert W. Peters successfully integrates a breathtaking landscape with well-considered indoor and outdoor living areas, solar design and panoramic views of the Santa Fe National Forest and Jemez Mountains.
Featured in the quintessential guidebook “Santa Fe Style”, the core of the 7.98 acre compound is the 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom main house and its companion guest house and greenhouse. Architecturally linked by a series of portals and patios, adorned by beautiful wood gates and separated by a stunning open-air Japanese garden, the structures provide a beautiful silhouette against the blue New Mexico sky.
In close proximity you’ll find the one-bedroom caretaker house and two 2-car garages. In combination, these structures create an inviting entrance and motor court. A large studio/exercise room with compelling views completes the living area.

Buyers Market
According to the Santa Fe Association of Realtors, the MLS indicates the median sales price of a single family home in the 3rd quarter 2011, dropped 10 percent from a year ago.
The price declines came even as inventory numbers are down 28% from 2009. There are approximately 1,794 homes on the Santa Fe market, down from 2,495 homes in the third quarter 2009.
Good news for potential home buyers is that low interest rates and price declines have made homes affordable. This means those with an average income in Santa Fe County now qualify for a mortgage versus renting.
